General Info

I specialize in the care of newborns, children, adolescents and young adults. I am dedicated to providing the best possible medical care for my patients in an atmosphere that is personable, pleasant and comfortable. I practice evidence-based medicine in a collaborative approach with parents. Good communication with parents is extremely important to me. I am a graduate of San Marcos University in Lima, Peru. I completed an internship at Philadelphia General Hospital and a residency at the University of Illinois Hospital and Michael Reese Hospital, both in Chicago, Illinois. I am board certified in pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society. In addition to primary care pediatrics, I have a special interest in helping children with ADHD. I have been a pediatrician in Quakertown since 1975. I hold a 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo from the World Taekwondo Federation. I enjoy trekking, travel and spending time with my family including my five grandchildren. My hobbies include art cinema, reading, music and I have volunteered with a medical mission in Peru.
