The Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Connecticut is one of the programs administered by Day Kimball HomeCare, which is a nonprofit, Medicare-certified organization. Operational since 1983, the program includes a range of care and support services for terminally ill patients. It features palliative care solutions for pain relief and symptom control purposes. The Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Connecticut assists with the medical, psychological, spiritual and social needs of patients and their families. The program additionally includes counseling and bereavement services. It also assists with the management of physical and psychosocial issues. Day Kimball HomeCare is a part of Day Kimball Hospital.
