Gave this salon a try. Went in with blonde hair, asked for platinum blonde, and left with red hair!! Had to pay my normal hairdresser a ton of money to have it fixed. When I refused to pay for my red hair, they immediately threatened me with legal action! Never offered to put me with someone else or any sort of resolve, just immediately legal action! Extremely unprofessional, Will NEVER NEVER go back! BEWARE of this salon!!
I'm not certain what salons the other girl has been to that a style is included in a price,unless it's what is to be considered a chop shop,my time spent in Trendsetters was great.Having had a full day,getting a facial,massage,nails and hair,I felt it was worth more than what I paid,and I can't wait for my next appt.!!! It's a beautiful place and everyone is very nice.
Coming from New Jersey/New York, I find Trend Setters to be an upscale setting and service in Charlotte County, FL. Entering the salon is impressive, the service is indeed very good. The stylist takes the time to "listen" to your needs and then they share their ideas to see if it works. The owner is always seen walking around to make sure everything is fine and very importantly the place is very clean! Every 4 weeks I and my teenage kids look forward to go and feel "pampered" at Trend Settings!
Moving to Punta Gorda Isle's a year ago I needed to get my hair cut. Because Trend Setters is close by and sounded like a good place I went. They dont tell you that a blow dry costs you the same as a hair cut, which really pissed me off. $22 for a blow dry? Come on people get real, its should be included in the service just like all salons. Anyways, when the stylist went to style my hair, she styled it like I was 80 years old. NOT a trend setter unless you want to get a senior citizens discount afterwards. Your salon should be called Old Setters!
