I brought a laptop in to be fixed (I didn't break it, someone else did) and I was given a 3-4 day estimate. Being a senior, i was in dire need of a computer and thought id have it back In a timely fashion... That was not the case. I call back and they said the part was another week out... How is that even possible?! Have you never heard of 2-3 day shipping? I will never bring anything to this company again, nor will I ever refer anybody here.

I bought a new system from this guy not that long ago, and I had a few issues with it. After trying to get them resolved, he eventually gave up and refused to take it back or do anything else with it. The previous post I read about R-tech claiming to do trial and error is dead on. I got an overwhelming feeling that he really didn't know what he was doing. I took the system to one of R-techs competitors, and they fixed it easily and for cheap. They even identified that some of the setup (which they didn't know R-Tech had done) was part of the original problem. I wish I had bought my system from this other place instead because they had better service and probably better everything. I guess I learned my lesson. At least there is another local place to go to, and this other place was very friendly, helpful, and took care of me even though it looked like they had a lot of other things going on. Don't believe the super guarantee rating, because it's not true.

R-Tech has been GREAT for doing diagnostics and repairs on my folks' home computer. They are generally very quick and super friendly. Let's face it; computers are the most frustrating item on earth (along with cell phones) so fixing them can try your patience and pocketbook. But with R-Tech, I know they are going the extra mile to provide good customer service at as reasonable rate as you're going to find in our area.

My 2004 PC laptop developed the dreaded "Blue Screen of Death" one Sunday this summer. I was unemployed and needed my laptop to look for job opportunities. I looked for a locally owned company and brought it in to R-Tech on Tuesday morning. Robert called me with a diagnosis on Thursday night and gave me an estimate on what it would cost to replace the hard drive. Robert had to order the new hard drive (the one he had on hand was much bigger than anything I needed!) and I would have had the machine back the following week. I had to leave town unexpectedly, so emailed Robert that it could wait and it was ready when I returned. It has been working perfectly ever since. Robert was able to retrieve much of what had been on the hard drive, and I was able to reconstruct the rest from backup files. I was pleased with the service, with the communication, and happy with the results.

I was in need of a computer for my start-up General Contracting business. I told Robert what I was going to use it for and how much I had in my budget. Within a short period of time Robert found MY computer and I couldn't be happier. I am very relieved I don't have to worry about finding a computer and can concentrate on finding work! Gary Davis

R-Tech Systems is a locally owned and operated business in Pullman. They are quick to respond to a call for help when our office needs immediate attention and troubleshooting. Several of our computers were purchased from R-Tech and service was quick and trouble-free. I would highly recommend Robert for any job big or small.

I have a laptop where the screen went out. This business has no idea how to fix laptops. Do not go there to get yours fixed. They had my computer for 4 weeks and charged me 40 bucks as a diagnostic fee and I was left with no diagnosis as to its problem. During the four weeks my laptop was there, they never contacted me to let me know what was going on or if they had my permission to proceed with trying to replace certain parts. I had to call them periodically to get any sort of update and/or approve of any fixes they may try. In the end I lost money and had one of the worst customer service experiences. Finally, after all of this I noticed that the casing around the screen had been cracked. The part where the plastic piece surrounds the back of the LCD panel looked as if someone took a small screwdriver, twisted, and pryed the plastic apart in order to look inside. Some wiring was exposed. For 40 dollars I should have gotten more than just a cosmetic detail on my laptop.
