Took my dog in for a bath and haircut. When we picked him up, staff was very sketchy about bringing my dog, Arnie out. When he came out, his eye was bloody and his left side of his face was swollen. They said it was from him straining on his collar while taking a bath. We didn't buy it. They said if it didn't look better in 48 hours, to call them and they would take them to their vet. We weren't comfortable with that; our dog looked miserable. So we took him to our vet in Colorado Springs whom we have gone to for a while now, and we trust. They took a look at Arnie. Realized he had bruising throughout his eye, his ear, and his mouth. Determined there was no way that was from "straining" on his collar. Livid, realizing someone had HIT my dog, I called pet paradise and talked to grooming manager. She said "it happened while they were blow drying him". Story had changed. And so basically, she allowed us to believe someone hit him with the blow dryer.
LONG STORY SHORT-- We urge you to NOT GO TO PET PARADISE.
We are pressing charges, and we were told they got accused of this not too long ago. Awful.
What a wonderful place to shop!! Very friendly and knowledgeable!! Everything I was looking for and more... will be doing all my pet shopping needs here!
I have been shopping at Pet Paradise since I was a kid. They always give excellent customer service and their knowledge of pets is beyond what you get from chain pet stores. If you are looking for a reputable pet store, Pet Paradise is the only place you need!
I have been taking my dog here for the past years. They are the best groomers in Pueblo. Super nice and very reasonable prices. Great staff and great experience. My dog has grown up with them and I wouldn't take him anywhere else.
I have taken my dog here for 6 years now. They are so good with him and do an AMAZING job. They are super nice and the rates are fantastic. I would not take my dog anywhere else.
I will nit recommend this place as my 5yr old daughter was accused of shoplifting we searched her she did not have the ball he said she took we told him to search us as he insisted that she took it after we said that he started running running around like a headless chicken this place is a cluttered mess and if they would clean it up maybe he would find the ball he accused her of stealing with this said I will not be buying the $1600 fish tank that I was going to put on layaway there but will settle for a cheaper one and get my saltwater fish tank supplies else where along with the fish
This is a very high class pet store! i love the layout and its a fun place for me to take my kids whenever we want to have a fun day out.
