- Pediatric CareDr. D' Souza is a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He joined Martin Clinic in July 2009 and serves and the medical director of the sleep lab. In addition to providing guidance regarding technical practices and competencies of our staff, he provides formal interpretations for all studies that are performed in the sleep center as recommended by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from St. John's Medical College and completed his internship at Father Muller Medical College in Mangalore Karnataka State in India. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center, New York Medical College in Bronx, New York. He is fellowship-trained in Neurology with Special Competence in Child Neurology from the State University-Kings County Hospital Center, Brooklyn, New York. He is board certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine, the American Board of Neurology & Psychiatry, Clinical Neurophysiology, & American Board of Pediatrics. He is also credentialed as a developmental disability specialist / analyst. Dr. D' Souza has lived and practiced in Tulsa for many years - he and his wife have three children who are all physicians.

- ElectrocardiogramDiagnostic Polysomnography (PSG) is performed to document physiological events occurring during sleep. The test consists of a continuous recording, generally lasting from 6-8 hours and occurring during a patient's typical sleep hours. The parameters that we monitor include limited electroencephalogram (EEG) (central & occipital), eye movement and muscle tone (EMG) for the purpose of staging sleep, respiratory effort by chest and abdominal movement, nasal and oral airflow, limb movements, limited electrocardiogram (ECG) and oxygen saturation by non-invasive pulse oximetry. The patient's sleep behavior is also monitored using infrared lighting and a closed circuit camera. Additional parameters are included if ordered.
- Internal MedicineDr. Martin has specialized in Internal Medicine since he founded Martin Clinic in 1974. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma in 1970. He completed his internship and residency through Washington University at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine during his final year at Washington University.
