$75 for a service call on an electric dryer. I am okay with that. However, the diagnosis needed a part, which is again fine. They never called back. I had to call them to find out that the part in question was not available. Maybe they didn't reach me the first time, but please have the courtesy to try to get a hold of me.
Had a great experience with this company. The owner came out the same day I called and not only got my gas burners to work, but educated me on what to do if it happened again. He is also very considerate of his client's expenses and does what he can to advise what steps to take in the most economically sensible manner.
Seriously, I hired ASA to come and diagnose and repair my malfunctioning dishwasher. Service man diagnosed and charged the $75 service fee, said he would check on the part and get back to me the following day, and nothing week later still nothing, even after texting and asking what he had found out. Had to hire another company to come and finish the job :( very disatisfied
I can't say enough about David at ASA Appliance. I've been calling him for years now, and we use him for all of the maintenance issues we have at our rental property. Twice now he has gone out for us after hours and only charged his regular call fee, which is super reasonable in my opinion, especially when you consider that calling a plumbing company after hours would likely cost hundreds of dollars. In addition to the many appliance repairs he has performed for us, he has also done a couple of minor plumbing jobs. He went the extra mile in one situation when we needed a new water heater at the property. He actually went to the store and bought the unit (the cost was obviously part of our total bill owed), took it back to the house, installed it, and did it all for an extremely reasonable price. And even though he said he ran into some unforeseen difficulties in the installation process, he kept the price as close to what he originally quoted me as he could. I LOVE having David to rely on for all of our repair and maintenance needs. Call him! You'll be glad you did! He's always very courteous, honest, and remarkably available, considering how many cities he visits. So, so great!
I was so happy with the service of David at ASA appliance. I called him in the morning and he came out to my home that same day. My fridge needed a part and he drove to Salt Lake and got the part and came back to my house and fixed my fridge all in the same day! His pricing was very fair and I will definitely call him the next time something breaks...hopefully that won't happen to soon :) I was very happy and I would highly recommend ASA Appliance.
I am a landlord of multiple properties and have used Dave for many years. He has saved me thousands of dollars now on not having to buy new appliances! He usually can get to me in a reasonable time frame and is always professional and fair and honest in his pricing. He has worked on washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers and refrigerators for me. He is very knowledgeable and often has the needed part with him, saving me and my tenants a lot of headaches. Before you buy a new appliance call Dave!
David, looking clean and professional, was carrying a backpack stuffed with his tools when he came to our house today to work on our microwave. He worked quickly and quietly, careful to not make a mess. The diode wasn't the problem, so he continued checking. The magnetron! Aha! But the repair was pricier than our homeowner's warranty co. -- Landmark -- was willing to pay. They wanted us to take cash in lieu of repair. David knew we didn't want that and took a sizable financial hit so we would have a working microwave tonight. I So Much appreciated his professional attitude in talking with Teresa at Landmark, and his graciousness in losing his profit in doing the work. Please give him all your business so he can tell Landmark he's too busy to take any more calls from them. David is a master at his craft -- he said he's been doing this for 15 years -- so you can trust him to take good, fair care of your appliance repair.

ASA Appliance came out and diagnosed my washer quickly! The service man was very nice and very polite. I also appreciate that he was honest and fair with pricing! He had parts with him and now I have my washer BACK! I would highly recommend him!
My 5 yr. old freezer "died", I called ASA and David came to my house the next day, he checked several things, compressor, etc. and found within ten minutes the "relay" had gone out in it, he had a new one on and everything done within twenty minutes. Saving me a ton of money, I thought I was going to be putting out two to four hundred dollars on this freezer or trying to find another good used one, for about a hundred dollars I again have a great freezer and a great new trustworthy, fair service person! Will be calling you again. Thanks much.
