I have been a member for a year now and I have not regretted one moment. The teacher is great with all ages from toddlers to adults, and that is no easy task but the Sensei does a great job of teaching, guiding, challenging, motivating and providing a great overall experience at this school. The students are all helpful and they made me feel right at home. This as I said earlier is the Best Martial Arts school I have ever joined.

I've been doing Aikido with my 7-year old daughter and I was very happy to have the opportunity to learn Aikido with her. I enjoy learning the basics and having Sensei push me to make my body and mind comply with my desire to grow. Continuously growing, adapting, learning and improving is what makes this dojo great.I was looking for a martial art where I could take my daughter for a workout and where the focus is NOT on kicking and hitting. Aikido certainly fit the bill for us. Apart from the excellent workout I get out of it (both in exertion and improving my flexibility) I also find it very enjoyable to be part of the dojo's community.If you have never tried Aikido, the Eastside Main Street dojo is an excellent place to start. If you are looking to advance your current Aikido knowledge, I am sure you will find your place here too.

The instructors in this school have good lineage to Japanese master teachers. The instructors also train continuously, whereas instructors in most martial arts schools stop training after they get to black belt. It's inspiring to see the instructors working as hard as the students to improve the quality of the practice and the art.
