Maguire Group was founded in 1938, and has become one of the nation's leading architectural, engineering, planning and construction management firms. Maguire's diversity, such as successfully teaming with many major contractors on design-build type procurement projects, is reflected in its capabilities and experience. Maguire has successfully worked on projects from the Central Artery/Big Dig in Boston to the design and consultation for improvements to the 16-mgd Woonsocket Wastewater Treatment Facility in Rhode Island; from the on-call port/marine services for the New York/New Jersey Port Authority; to the design of the $37-million parking garage at Bradley International Airport. The company has provided financial oversight of the new stadiums for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers, and designed of the Charles River Dam and Navigation Locks Project in Boston. The firm is the recipient of the first-ever Presidential Award for Design Excellence, and recipient of a second Presidential Award for Design Excellence.
