Dr Bak genuinely cares about his patients and takes the time to work with you to perfect your vision - I've been a patient of his for 8+ years and have sent him many referrals who have all been happy...

Dr. Bak is the best optometrist that has ever exmined my eyes. I found Dr. Bak's staff to be very friendly and helpful. I was given a through exmination by Dr. Bak, all my questions were answered and he was a good listener. My eye condition was resloved, and the prescribed treatment was followed up by a personal phone call from the doctor. I am going to recommend this doctor to all my friends and family.

I love Dr. Bak but am thinking of going to a different eye doctor because of his horrible receptionist. We have been seeing him for seven years and hate to change but she is awful. I dread having to call for an appointment.

I agree that Dr. Bak is very good, but his receptionist is rude.

Doctor is great. But front office lady is horrible. Thinks she is the boss and treats everyone like dirt. If he doesnot fire her he has to close his office one day.

I became a patient of Dr. Bak in 1985. At that time, my contact lenses were becoming extremely uncomfortable and irritating my eyes. I was afraid I would need to give up wearing contact lenses because my current eye doctor was not able to figure out why. Fortunately, I found Dr. Bak, who immediately diagnosed the problem. I was a happy contact lens wearer again as soon as my new lenses arrived. As a very nearsighted person, it has always been difficult to correct my vision well with eyeglasses. This was my initial motivation for wearing contact lenses. It was Dr. Bak to the rescue again. Whatever he does to determine your best prescription really works. When I got my first pair of eyeglasses after being refracted by Dr. Bak, I had perfect 20/20 vision. And, he has kept me seeing very well over the years, both with contact lenses and eyeglasses. The medical part of his exam also turned out to be extremely valuable. When the pressure inside my eyes began to elevate, he sent me to a terrific specialist for treatment and monitoring to prevent vision loss from Glaucoma. And, when Dr Bak detected a tiny hole in my retina, he referred me to an excellent retinal specialist, who tacked down around the hole with a laser to prevent it from getting larger and eventually causing a detached retina. Dr. Bak is indeed one of the kindest and most competent people I have had the pleasure of knowing. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to gain and maintain excellent vision, and have a pleasant experience in doing so. Roger Jones

Dr. Bak is good but he needs to find another receptionist in the Princeton Walmart office. Her phone manner is terrible, unpleasant and unprofessional. Hate to deal with her to make an appointment... may go elsewhere.

I've been a paient of Dr. Bak for many years, and I can state without reservation that he is by far the best optometrist I've ever had the pleasure of being treated by. Dr. Bak shows care and skill for the overall health of the eye, not just examining for refraction, but for overall eye health, including diseases of the eye, cornea, and all related optical health issues. I can highly recommend him and his services, because he truly cares about what he does, and his concern does not end when you exit his office after your visit.
