I brought my cat here twice while away on vacacation for over a week and have had a great experience both times. Tiffany the manager, was really helpful and always available when I called. My cat was also groomed and he felt soft and looked pretty after! I will be back next time!

I can't even look at a star to rate this place. Went in to take a look around and the place it was like a horror movie. The cages look like they are riddled with disease and rust. There was a cat laying in on of the cages that looked dead. I wanted to cry and throw up at the same time. The animals are miserable and I needed a shower right after I left. They need to seriously invest in their facility or what would be better is to condemn the whole place.

Have used Behr Woods many years an older facility but confident our dog recieves attention and good care. We feel very comfortable leaving Max here and always had a positive expeience.

I have been boarding my dog during vacations here since 2002. More often than not, she turns back around and tries to get behind the counter again. If she doesn't want to leave to come home, I have to take that as a good sign (sad as it is for me!). I have always been asked to produce vaccination records, and they will call my vet if I don't have the paperwork. Twice she has been boarded a month after a surgery, and they took great care of her. She was healed but needed to take it easy. They let her hang with them in the office most of the day. She loves people so that's the ultimate for her. The first year I left her there, she made a doggie friend, and they even left me a note to say how great she was and noted the "friendship". It may not be a castle from the outside, and it may smell like dog, but these people take wonderful care of my (now old) girl.

Been going here for years - it's old but I feel my dog gets lots of attention and good care, plenty of room too!

Just had my dog groomed at Behrwood.she is a welsh terrier they made her look like she was going to a dog show. The groomer is amazing!!!

The facility is utterly dilapidated and unclean and there is no verification of dogs' vaccination records. For example, I was not asked to provide any documentation of my dogs' current vaccination status. After the fact, I had to wonder if my pets were exposed to any communicable diseases in the kennel since there is no checking done. My dogs were returned to me completely filthy with feces matted on their bellies and splashed up their legs. They were in very poor condition. My vet summed up Behrwood as "a disaster."
I have a small maltese and most kennels will leave her in a small cage for most of the day. Behrwoods gave her her own run for her entire stay. When I dropped in unexpectedly, they were holding her and playing with her in the office. This made me feel very good about the place. This is the only kennel we have ever used that gave us back a very calm and relaxed dog. I would highly recommend them.
