      General Info

      Aroostook Band of Micmacs is a group of professional chemists, biologists and geologists, with an experience of more than 35 years in the water quality field. The laboratory is owned and operated by the Aroostook Band of Micmacs Tribal Government. It supports the environmental testing needs of the Micmac Environmental Department in administering environmental health programs, clean water, clean air, and natural resource management programs for tribal-owned properties. It is equipped with laboratory instrumentation and equipment and performs all analytical work. It identifies and solves drinking water problems and determines water quality by the interaction of microbes, soil, water, bedrock and well construction. Aroostook Band of Micmacs is located in Presque Isle, Maine.
