Will never return! Led me to believe it was better and cheaper to over haul trans instead of replacing it for 2400.00. I don't work and wanted to save $. Took over a week for someone to get back to me for a quote I keep calling but always an excuse. When finally called the quote was 3900.00 . Worst BATE & SWITCH! Settled for 2800.00

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

We just recieved a vehicle with transmission problems -the transmission has recently been rebuilt at another shop - when diagnosing the situation it becomes very clear that the transmission cooler/radiator have failed, contaminating the transmission with coolant and water. This brand of vehicle has a history of this type of problem and this situation should have been avoided. As a result, the transmission needs to be rebuilt (again), and a new radiator (with transmission cooler) needs to be installed to correct the situation. Since we at CERTIFIED TRANSMISSIONS INC are always up to date on industry trends, we would have done this job right the first time by insisting on a radiator as part of the job.

WHAT IS A "ripoff?"

Most vehicles with an automatic transmission have a cooler that is built into the radiator. In some years-makes and models there have been known pattern failures relating to these coolers/radiators. So consider... is the shop that has knowledge of these common failures a "ripoff" for considering this a likely possibilty? Or, is the customer actually being "ripped off" by someone else's lack of knowledge or failure to inform of the possible need for a new cooler/radiator? I WOULD PREFER TO BE ADVISED AHEAD RATHER THAN LATER!

CERTIFIED TRANSMISSIONS INC. Prescott AZ

Being a single gal, it's hard to find a shop I can trust. But these guys are great!!! They keep my car in tip top condition and are always prompt and at a fair price. It's important to me that they are all ASE CERTIFIED, confirming to me that they are qualified and serious about what they do. I would never take my car anywhere else!

Certified Transmissions Inc. of Prescott, AZ.

I've had a lot of work done with these guys and I can tell you that they are all pro's. When my clutch went out, I had a lot of questions about how and why and how much. They, unlike many other places I've tried, had the patience and willingness to explain things to me step-by-step. Their estimates were accurate and the work was always done promply. Repair costs were comparable with other auto shops but you wont get the courteous and professional service that Certified Trans. offers. It was a very reassuring feeling and I will continue to do business with them and recommend them to others.
