If you buy parts from AutoZone, check the part application carefully before you leave the store. I recently purchased a pan gasket set and when I checked the fit I discovered I had received the wrong application. The mistake by Autozone took over two hours to correct and another round trip to the store. Returning the gasket set was a hassle involving three countermen, giving my phone number four times in the space of 20 minutes and showing ID - despite already being registered in the Autozone computer. There are two other major auto parts stores within a stones throw of Autozone. Maybe paying a little more at one of these competitor stores will buy more competent customer service without the attitude.
