Compton Elementary School, governed by the Cobb County School District, serves students in kindergarten through grade five. The school has partnerships with Kroger, Dairy Queen, West Cobb Chiropractic, Bruster's Ice Cream, Gold's Gym and United Community Bank. Compton Elementary School s after-school program offers various activities, such as art, music, enrichment classes, reading club, and outdoor and strategic games. The program also provides recreational opportunities and homework and socialization time. The school s curriculum includes math, science, English, social studies, language arts and physical education. Compton Elementary School, established in 1969, is located in Powder Springs, Ga.
