Poultney Elementary School conducts classes for students in kindergarten through grade six. The school's curriculum includes language arts, math, science, basic skills, social studies and physical education. Located in Poultney, Vt., Poultney Elementary School also provides instruction in vocal music, string orchestra and band. Poultney Elementary School has a parent-teacher organization that organizes international festivals and fundraising events. In addition, the school offers an extended-day care program. Poultney Elementary School also organizes field trips and spelling bee competitions. The school has a guidance counseling department that provides individual and group counseling. Poultney Elementary School is a part of the Rutland Southwest Supervisory Union School District.
