Alternative High School Programs serves students in grades nine through 12. It offers a wide range of academic courses and extracurricular activities. The school provides education in various subjects, including mathematics, science, social studies, English, history, economics and physical education. It runs a day treatment program that provides clinical services to emotionally disabled students. The school s menu includes Spanish rice, chicken nuggets, French fries, Salisbury steaks, bread, salad, chicken, spaghetti and milk. The school is located in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. It is a part of Dutchess County Board of Cooperative Educational Services. The board provides several adult and alternative education programs, and also has various career and technical institutes.
