Simonsdale Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade five and employs more than 30 teachers. Located in Portsmouth, Va., the elementary school provides a flexible academic program with emphasis on the development of basic learning and thinking skills. The school also discusses the mutual concerns of parents and teachers and promotes communication with the community. Simonsdale Elementary School operates a library that offers a collection of Internet resources, books, magazines and newspapers to stimulate the overall development of students.
