I have been a long term patient of Dr. Aleck. She has done exemplary services with my foot care and ankle care. I recommend her For all your foot and ankles issues. She just did a very tedious Surgery that exempalary both skill and concentration and with great Success. Dr. Aleck is very committed to her patients and does Outstanding job. This is a really nice doctors office. Dr. Aleck came highly recommended to us from my neighbor who is a nurse. I waited about 30 minutes for my first appointment, and then, when I saw the doctor, I felt like I was her only patient. She was so caring and listened to my concern about my bunion and how it affected my running. I thought she was going to recommend surgery, but she and I decided on a alternate treatment first...which by the way is actually working out! I may still have the surgery, but right now I am glad I can wait. Dr. Aleck made a custom pair of orthotics for me and that has really helped me overall. Thanks so much for caring. I highly recommend Dr. Aleck and Podiatry, Ltd. I have since sent my dad, who hates doctors, to Dr. Aleck. This is the first time I have not heard him complain about going to the doctor. And he even scheduled another appointment to have a cast made so he can finally get an ankle brace. WoW!

Dr. Aleck is tops in my book. She took real interest in my ongoing problem with heel and ankle issues, and made some suggestions as to how I could lead a painless life! We worked on a lot of conservative ways to treat my issues, which did finally result in a surgery to correct a defect in my achilles. MY recovery went very well, and she followed up with me every step of the way...literally! I have also gotten custom orthotics which have helped to take pressure off some of the areas of my foot, and I have also found that it has helped my knee and back pain...amazingly so! Thanks for listening...you have made a major impact on my quality of life! I have lost weight now that I am more mobile, and feel so much healthier...and this all because of Dr. Aleck addressing my Achilles issues. If you cannot get an appointment with Dr. Aleck right away, wait. She is worth it.

I can see why this office has received the "Best of" for the past several years. I am a runner and went to a podiatrist that was closer to where I live. HE told me that I would have to learn to live with my pain and shoud consider stopping running "At my age". I was referred to Dr. Aleck through a friend and figured I would give her a try. WOW! She diagnosed my problem, wnet through a course of treatment, and now I am back running again WITHOUT PAIN for the first time in several years. I have my life back thanks to Dr. Aleck. It is worth the extra 5 minute drive from Virginia Beach to Portsmouth to get the care I really needed.
