NHFF unites professional filmmakers and screenwriters with industry experts, students, educators, and film lovers for an inspiring, four-day celebration of independent film through panels, workshops, screenings, and networking events. Founded in 2001, NHFF began as a small, grassroots organization to support local, regional, and student filmmakers. It now holds a place as a viable and recognized festival that showcases the brightest talent on the international film festival scene. NHFF presents the best of independent film on four state-of-the-art screening venues ranging in size from 65 to 900-seat theaters. The festival also emphasize creative collaboration, education, and networking through a half dozen panel discussions and workshops, as well as after-parties where filmmakers can mingle with special guests.
