Established in 1957, Woodside Priory School is an independent, college preparatory and coeducational institution that offers a range of general academic, honors and advanced placement programs. It is affiliated with the California Association of Independent Schools and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Located in Portola Valley, Calif., the school provides Spanish, French and Japanese as foreign languages. The school also conducts classes in journalism, psychology, creative writing, calculus, physics and environmental science. It offers a variety of cocurricular activities, such as piano, choir, drama, physical education, and fine and performing arts. The school also provides various sports activities, such as baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, cross country, swimming, basketball, and track and field. It conducts chapel sessions and offers boarding, counseling and transportation services.
