Susannah Wright, CNM, RN, MSN, IBCLC, is a certified nurse midwife and lactation consultant with the Providence Medical Group-Mother and Baby Clinic. She sees patients in the clinics at Providence Portland, St. Vincent and Willamette Falls Medical Centers. Susannahs work revolves around listening, teaching and caring. I listen carefully to understand what my patients need that day, she says. Then I provide care and education to make sure that, by the time they leave their appointment, they feel supported and confident that they got what they needed. A graduate of The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Wash., Susannah earned her bachelors and masters degrees in nursing at Oregon Health & Science University.
