We had friends who had to spend a month here after a terrible accident. They were from the coastal area and were airlifted to Emanuel Hospital. After release from Emanuel, we had to find a place for them to get some physical therapy and rehab...they could not go home. We had this place recommended to us and found it to be one of the nicest around. Our friends got excellent care, good food, and were treated like family instead of patients. Of course, they were nice to begin with but we saw enough of the other patients to realize that West Hills is the place we would want to go to if we couldn't return to our own homes after some surgery or other medical issues. Would heartily recommend it! There is also a separate unit with lovely apartments right next door for those people who are able to function on their own.
