Service of Process is the delivery of a legal notice of a pending or filed law suit against a person or entity. The notices come in many forms and titles; the most common that Portland PS, Inc. can perform for you are: Small Claim, Summons and Complaint, Summons and Petition, F.E.D. (Evictions), Subpoena and Garnishments. Portland PS, Inc., through our national contacts, can provide Service of Process for you between the Canadian and Mexican borders and from Sea to Shining Sea. Our out of area clients send their documents to us via U.S. Postal Service, Fed-Ex, UPS, DHL, or Fax. Our local clients have the opportunity for free pick-up service, but some choose to use U.S., first class mail. This allows our clients to have as little disruption to their daily routines as possible, yet confident that the service they receive is above reproach. Portland PS provides first time clients as well as long term clients, Service of Process of Attorney documents, small claims, garnishments, and other documents. For our small claims and garnishment clients, Portland PS has the ability to access and to be able input information for filing those documents so that almost all court activity is performed by the Portland PS Staff.
