Although seemingly a nice guy, the Home Doctor for us was more like a med school drop out. The "Doctor" was nice enough to replace our downspout tube but directed the tube under our back deck so it directly faced the foundation. Since a couch was against the basement wall of that side of the foundation, we did not realize the "misdirect" until substantial water and mold damage was so severe that the resulting smell was unavoidable. Now we have to replace our carpet and drywall, and our foundation is now weakened by the resulting water. Unless you enjoy following people around and making sure they do their job correctly, I would not recommend the "Doctor." Use your money to buy a ladder instead - it will save you cash and heartache in the long run.
