Established in 1980, Myers Court is a retirement community that provides a range of independent living services for senior citizens. It has more than 15 studio apartments that features roll-in showers and kitchens with appliances, sinks and cabinets. The community additionally features a computer learning center and fitness facility. Its apartments have air-conditioning, covered patios, raised garden beds, and fire alarm and security systems. The community offers skilled nursing, housekeeping, maintenance, parking, scheduled transportation, shopping assistance and 24-hour emergency services. It also organizes a variety of social, cultural and recreational activities. The community is a part of Quadriplegics United Against Dependency, which was established in 1975 and is a nonprofit organization that operates several retirement communities.
