Multnomah County Library Administration serves as headquarters for various library departments. The administration offers various outreach programs, including Library Outreach Services, BOOKS 2 U, Early Childhood Resources and School Corps. It is the home of the library's print shop and warehouse. The administration also houses library management, human resources and finance personnel offices. Multnomah County Library Administration is a part of Multnomah County Library, which is a public library and was founded in 1864. The library houses more than 450 computer search stations for the public and a collection of over 2 million books and library materials.
