      At the MAMA clinic • Patients get assistance gathering necessary medical records. • Patients meet with a doctor, who reviews the medical records and performs a physical examination. If all records are in order and the doctor agrees that Cannabis may help, the doctor will sign the patient's Attending Physician Statement and forms to include with the OMMP registration application. • MAMA staff will guide patients through the registration process and will provide help to understand the intricacies of the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program. • Patients will be provided information from the OMMP regarding the law, and have explained to them harm reduction in the use of cannabis, including alternatives to smoking and how cannabis may interact with other medicines.
