Founded in 1962, Motel 6 is a full-service lodging and boarding facility. Based in Tigard, Ore., the facility offers a range of amenities, including free local phone calls, no long distance access charges, morning coffee and cable channel line-up with premium channels including HBO, ESPN/ESPN2 and CNN. It also renders Wi-Fi Internet access, swimming pools and guest laundry facilities. Motel 6, a part of the Accor family, is one of the largest hotel chains in North America. Accor operates more than 1000 Motel 6 centers across the United States.
