General Info
TWO LOCATIONS: 6035 NE Halsey St. Portland, OR 97213 7238 SE Foster Rd, Portland, OR 97206 Welcome to LA AREPA! I would like to introduce myself, Antonio Gutierrez, and my wife Elsy Rodriguez. We are the owners of La Arepa Venezuelan food cart. We moved here from Barquisimeto, Venezuela in 2007 and have been living here in SE Portland ever since. We decided to move here to be near our son and his family. It has been a wonderful experience and we have been welcomed to this incredible city with open arms. We love and miss our culture back home and decided that we wanted to bring a little corner of Venezuela here to Portland. We opened up La Arepa in August 2011 and have had a wonderful response to our cuisine. We look forward to many more years of serving and introducing our food and culture to new people everyday. We love the open-mindedness that Portlanders have to trying new food and to learning about new cultures. Thank you Portland for making our dream come true!!TWO LOCATIONS: 6035 NE Halsey St. Portland, OR 97213 7238 SE Foster Rd, Portland, OR 97206 Welcome to LA AREPA!
