I could live with the rude and sloppy lack of professionalism if they didn't bungle key and costly issues so badly. Not recommended.

Dangerously amateurish management of HOA.

I rent a townhome that this HOA is associated with. When we had an issue with a third party company Kappes had hired we were treated like scum because we don't actually own our unit. The third party company was told by Jeff from the portland office of Kappes that "They are just renters so F em", even though this same Jeff was SUPER nice to us at the beginning. I called him again today to inquire about said issue and the only response I got from him was, "have your landlord call me", and then hung up on me. I understand that I'm not a homeowner but there's no reason to be rude nor any reason to lie to me in the first place. Terrible business practice. The plus side is that I know now never to live somewhere with and HOA. Money grubbers.

Was interested in purchasing a condo that KM managed. The manager I spoke to was very helpful and provided a lot of information that helped me make my decision to buy the unit.
