Jefferson High School serves students in grades 6 through 12. The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It operates agriculture, business, English, fine arts, foreign language and math departments. Jefferson High School offers a variety of facilities, such as a gymnasium, cafeteria, multipurpose room, library and media center, career center and music complex. Its sports activities include baseball, volleyball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer and tennis. In addition, Jefferson High School provides various extracurricular activities, such as band, choir, chess club and ballet. Located in Portland, Ore., Jefferson High School is a part of Portland Public Schools.
