Love their little mini cakes always a big hit at all the parties...I usually get a few flavors to fit all the guest tastes.
I wanted a Star Wars themed cake for my son's preschool graduation party. I was very specific while speaking to the associate on the phone; I was reassured that my Star Wars cake would be wonderful! While picking up the cake, I think my face dropped when the box was opened. It was not a Star Wars cake at all, it was a celestial cake with a planet, the sun and a couple stars--no Star Wars decorations at all. One of the associates explained that they are not allowed to make character themed cakes, which is fine, but that information was not made known to me. What made this worse was that one of the associates was terribly rude to me, and put the blame on me! The other two ladies were helpful and apologized, but the one woman was snotty and rude. My order ticket even said STAR WARS in large letters. They could have called me at the very least.Unfortunately, due to this experience, I will NEVER shop at JaCiva's again. The cake will taste wonderful but it was not what I wanted and not w

Have had their cakes which are wonderful. Finally stopped in last weekend and was disappointed. Bought some orange rolls, cinnamon rolls and candy. Did not like any of these.
Jaciva's makes wonderful chocolates, cakes, and eclairs. I buy every birthday cake from them. I didn't even like eclairs, until I tried theirs. A portland must on any birthday shopping list!
