Very professional group. From estimate to finishing job each step was followed up on by a Interstate employee. They keep the work area clean and each day walked around the house and asked if there was anything they needed to do before leaving. Always on time and ready to get the days work done. It took three days to replace the roof and it looks great.

Interstate tore off and replaced our complicated, steep roof with Presidential Shingles. The roof is beautiful and the entire company was a joy to work with. Will hire again in a heartbeat

This company was fantastic to work with, from the sales person that came out for the quote, to the office staff, to the crews here on site. They were very up front and service oriented, and presented high quality work with lots of experience behind it. The work here was efficient and clean, the roof looks great. Their price was in the middle of the three quotes I got and worth every penny. They really went the extra mile for me. Tresa, who does scheduling, arranged to move me up in their schedule so the job would not coincide with my son's home birth. She called other clients to approve the schedule change and my roof was completed one day before I went into labor. I would recommend Interstate to anyone.

The Interstate Team was very professional and completed the removal of the old roof and installation of the new roof quickly and neatly. Just had a new roof replaced in July 2015. Interstate Roofing was recommended by our neighbor who had their roof replaced by them. Interstate Roofing team was knowledgeable and professional from estimator thru final inspection. Finished the job in 4 days and it looks great! Had a final inspection and warranty coverage beyond what we expected. They actually fixed our vinyl siding where there was a crack and replaced J channel which was originally missing. Enjoyable team to work with. Phone calls & emails were returned promptly. I highly recommend using them.

January 2013 we had Interstate Roofing put a new roof on our home. We liked their work so well that when we built our shop this January 2015 we had them put a new roof on it as well. Interstate Roofing is professional, timely, and they do the job right. They also kept the job site very clean. We would highly recommend Interstate Roofing to anyone. After receiving bids from 3 different local roofing companies, Interstate fell right in the middle but had far superior customer service. The estimator was more thorough, and always took the time to answer my questions over the several weeks we were finalizing the quote. The install crew and superintendent were fast, respectful, and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. I worked with the crew on my own project up on the roof while they were working and they were very easy to work with. I even had their carpenters replace some siding around my chimney while they were up there and they also did a great job. Communication could have been slightly better, but frankly Interstate had far better communication than the other companies I received bids from (and a couple that apparently didn't need my business enough to call be back for an estimate!). The roof looks great!

I feel I must start out by saying this was the best experience I could have hoped for. My roof was severely damaged by a major wind storm in the Portland/Vancouver area in December 2014. My homeowners insurance informed me they had over 400 claims open over the weekend, due to the storm, and expected everything to take much longer than normal. I started by contacting 4 companies for bids. Interstate was the first to respond and the first to arrive for a free inspection/assessment. The other 3 companies got back to me the following week and said they couldn’t even come out for the inspection for another 2 weeks. When it was all said and done Interstate Roofing had the lowest bid by almost $1000. They also included a lot that the other companies considered upgrades. These upgrades included better roofing paper, new metal vents (they even included additional vents as they said I didn’t have enough), architectural shingles, metal drip edge and an excellent lifetime warranty. As soon as the insurance approved the estimate the work started the very next week. Interstate said they would wait for the insurance money so I only had to put down a small deposit. They actually took the time to communicate with my insurance company for me. The work was done in 2 days and they left the ground area exactly as it was before they arrived. I could not be happier with the work and customer service I received during what should have been a very stressful time. I am very happy to be able to post this review. My family thanks Interstate Roofing for a job well done!

Three years after we bought a new roof a 10,000 pound free fell on our roof during a wind storm, forcing us to replace the new roof!

Interstate Roofing Company demonstrated from day one they were interested in the best way to repair, as well as quality parts and service without needing to figure out every quality decision for ourselves. A solid and effective company like Interstate Roofing in Portland Oregon can be hard to find these days. We learned they only use metal vents vs plastic like many other companies, they include drip edge, only use nails and their warranty inspection guy checked all details including making sure all kitchen and bathroom vents were actually hooked up and working. Interstate proved to be a significantly higher quality product and service from the get go without needing to argue or research. Now that I know Interstate is focused on quality first, I happily share my experience for the good of all. Quality deserves to be rewarded especially in this day and age.

We got bids from at least 4 companies to reroof our house in an upscale neighborhood in NW Portland. Interstate was not the cheapest bid, but Tresa was the the most response sales representative. She was always immediately available for any questions we had. They had a fantastic installation crew with a very knowledgable supervisor. They would only work when he was on-site. He got sick one day and they couldn't work. I was mildly irritated by this, but now I know why! We have since moved to another house, and by a quirk of fate were not able to use Interstate to install the exact same roofing product on the second house. OMG, the results have been a disaster. I won't name the second company (yet) because we are in negotiations to correct the problem. But I can tell you Interstate is HEAD and SHOULDERS above this second company on every level: customer service, quality of work, follow up, You name it.

It's really hard to find a good roofer and if you're buying an expensive roof don't risk dealing with someone who's not an expert in installing them. It turns out there are technical specifications that make a huge difference in the appearance. If you just want something to keep the rain out, then get a cheap 3-tab and hire your cousin. If you want a beautiful roof that you (and your neighbors) love, hire Interstate.

What a joy to work with a professional company. They were done with our large house in 3.5 days with just a little more finish up. They cleaned up after each day and also brought a Port-a-potty for the guys. Quality job. Our Direct TV guy even told us how well they did putting the dish back on the roof and how clean the gutters were. These were two things our Salesman, Lance, promised us and they delivered. Dave Pate, Residential Division Manger, checked up on the workers each day, answered all our questions and kept us informed of schedule. Tresa, customer care manager, kept us informed, also and we always had someone to get in touch with for other questions. It was an A+ experience. We found them because they were doing a neighbor's roof and we watched how well they were doing.

I contacted Interstate Roofing because my neighbor across the street from me had them replace his roof and was very pleased.

Ronnie from Interstate Roofing scheduled a time to come by and assess the roof. He sat down with me and went over all the options and answered all my questions. He was very helpful and professional. It took several weeks for the work to actually begin due the a large number of jobs they had ahead of mine.

Once they got started it took about 5 days for them to replace the roof. Because of rainy weather there were some breaks in between the actual days worked which was a total of 3 days. The even came out and finished it up on a Sunday because the weather forecast was not looking good for the next week.

A couple of weeks after the roof was done they installed the rain gutters. The only problem encountered was the installers of the rain gutters did not know about installing cover screens. Fortunately I happened to ask about the cover screens just as they were finishing up. Those will be installed tomorrow.

I am very happy with the new roof. They did a thorough job cleaning up all the debris and as far as my yard goes you would never know they were here. During the process I was in contact by email with Tresa who was very helpful with keeping me informed, addressing any concerns and answering my questions. It was a very positive process all and all.

I had a great experience with Interstate Roofing. I was replacing my roof during the sale of my home and Interstate made the process easy and painless. They were so accommodating when I decided to add gutters to the contract at the last minute. On top of that they changed their entire schedule for me when I found out I couldn't close on my house until the gutters were done. Interstate was at my house the next business day and allowed me the peace of mind that everything was done.

I had Interstate Roofing do 3 separate jobs for me this Summer: clean roofs of house and garage/carport; new gutters all around; and, re-roof the garage/carport. Each was a different crew. At all times all the crews were diligent, hard working, and always very courteous and respectful

Interstate did a great job for us. Their process of creating a quote was the best compared to their competition specifically the fact that they come out once and then created the quote on site save me time and allowed for timely questions.

The roof of the rental I am living in was recently replaced, and I was treated as if I contracted them myself. I was given a call and email beforehand to know what to do and expect from the job. They listened to the concerns I had with my dog and treated them with respect. The workers were very well prepared and very respectful. The job was done and cleaned up before the expected time and I was very happy with the results.

The headquarters for Interstate Roofing is in Portland, OR but they service Clark County, WA, where I live, as well. Although it can be an inconvenience at times, I pursued three estimates for a new roof and paid particular attention to the thoroughness of the company representatives who were sent to bid the job. Two were particularly good; doing a thorough search of the attic and ventilation systems. The third was, in my opinion, haphazard; failing to look in the attic and recommending felt (tar paper) instead of the new products available for shingle underlay. Those traits were reflected in their ultimate bid price, recommendations, and options for my consideration. I eliminated the third bid and concentrated on the two others. Comparing like options, including brand/quality of the shingles, the warranty and the ability to transfer it to any new owners, cricket covering options due to a flat slope, additional soffit vents, full ridge ventilation vs. older style individual roof vents, and details like flashings, replacement of two skylights, and reroofing my shop; the Interstate bid came in at over $3,000.00 less than the other finalist. Once work commenced, it was obvious that the crew knew their business. And, I must add, they were the hardest working, and with the most attention to detail, of any construction crew I can remember. Although it was a shock and disappointment to me, they found mold in the attic due to inadequate ventilation. They could have proceeded without mentioning it and I would have been none the wiser, but they brought it to my attention immediately, replaced roof boards in the affected areas, and recommended follow-up treatment. I’m a “what if” person and with jobs of this sort I always have ongoing concerns and ask a multitude of questions as the work proceeds. I guess that comes from too many projects where one finds, after the fact, that corners were cut. In this installation I found no cut corners and didn’t notice a single case where anything was done out of sequence. The Supervisor was always thinking ahead to the next day so that the crew would have what they needed to work without any delays. One nice touch is that Interstate has an agreement with the shingle manufacturer that I chose, to provide a $250.00 Cabela’s gift card to AARP members and current/former military personnel. Lastly, I can say without reservation that all of the Interstate personnel I dealt with from the first call to the last payment were particularly personable. In my opinion, they know their business and do it well.
