National Hat Museum is open every day of the week and RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. Just call 503-232-0433. 200 years of history comes alive with over 1,300 hats beautifully arranged. The Hat Museum. What a great experience! Even if you're not a hat fanatic you'll enjoy the rich history surrounding this historic sight and it's contents. Be prepared to see a house bursting with hats from every era and in every style. A full tour is preformed by a volunteer dressed completely in victorian garb. Don't forget to wear your own hat to get a coupon for the gift shop. After the tour take a walk around the ladd district and check out the beautiful rose gardens.
