Deconstruction Services is a division of The ReBuilding Center of Our United Villages, which is a nonprofit organization located in Portland, Ore. The division operates a process that removes residential and commercial structures to maximize material recovery. Deconstruction Services lowers building removal costs, reduces environmental impact of construction practices, creates job opportunities, conserves landfill space and stocks an inventory of reusable building materials. The division assists general contractors with redevelopment and remodeling projects. Additionally, the division provides deconstruction services for homes, roofs, multistory dwellings, kitchens, garages and commercial structures. It offers free estimates.
