I've tried these guys a few times to give them the benefit of the doubt. I believe in supporting honest business and I am very loyal to those businesses when I find them.

My experience with these guys are they like to team up in pairs to create a false "consensus" and when the price of metals goes up they manufacture excuses to low ball buy back prices and not pay current spot prices. Instead of being fair, transparent and honest, thus generating customer loyalty, they always try and shave an extra $10 into their pocket citing this excuse or that excuse.

I deal in a lot of coin purchases and sales and have done business with a lot of dealers. These guys remind me of slimy used car salesmen, without integrity and always trying to shave something "extra" for themselves off an otherwise straight forward buy or sell transaction.

My honest advise is keep away from these guys. I can only speak for this particular location, but I had a number of transactions with them to arrive at this conclusion and it left enough of a bad taste in my mouth to go out of my way to leave a review to warn others.

There are plenty of other honest, family operations in the Portland area that like what they do and always provide friendly and honest service. These guys (at least at this location) are not one of those businesses. I recommend avoiding them.

I live in SC and do business with AJPM when I feel the need to purchase bullion. Their website is very simple to read and very precise when it comes to prices. The best part about the whole process is the quickness of receiving the order you purchased. I always find myself going back to AJPM over and over again! Great place to buy and sell.

I've done business with Affordable several times and I've never had any problems. No, they're not warm and gushy, and they don't make small talk. But I'm not there to make friends, I'm there to buy coins. From my experience, they are straightforward, know their business, are professional, and answered my questions. It's a clean interaction each time, straightforward, and I appreciate that.

I buy my silver and fractional gold coins here, and won't go anywhere else. These reviewers don't know what they're talking about when they say it's an expensive place to buy metal......it has one of the most reasonable mark-ups you will find in the neighborhood.

Rude, arrogant, poor communication, ignore emails, tell you not to call, etc. Rotten outfit. Sleazy. Never met in person but ordered from web site. Took months for product to arrive. Complained numerous times to no avail. Never again. NEVER!

I was robbed in the middle of downtown !!!###I came to buy several silver bars. I counted money and put it on the table. This criminal took it, recounted and 3 hundred bucks were GONE. I don't know how he did it. I just came from the bank so I had cash in the banks envelope. There is no way I lost it or anything. As soon as I started complaining other "customers" turned into bodyguards working in the store. Then I get it. They took my attention away from my money for few seconds, so he can steal my money. I was there against 5 criminals. They said that they can call police and cops may be wondering where I got the money. They treat me like I was there with stolen money.### Well...... 3 hundred is not that much. I had to take my loss and move on. I am sure that they are doing it to other people too. When good men do nothing things like that will happend over and over again. Not to me, I am not going there ever. But someone will.### Lets stop this!### Warn everyone you know !!!

I encountered very rude and obnoxious behaviour, I will never BUY anything there###or even go there.

These thugs should be working in a prison. A couple of rude rubes. They have no interest in serving clients. They are shady, slimy, and are more like pimps than professionals. Don't waste your time with this low life operation. If you don't heed this advise, take some towelets with you so you can clean the slime from your bullion.
