      The Skilled Care Center offers 24-hour nursing services to promote the physical, emotional, spiritual and social well being of residents. It features a salon, library, and outdoor recreational and gardening patio areas. The center provides massage therapy and spa services. The Skilled Care Center also offers food services. In addition, the center offers daily newspaper service. It provides opportunities for patients to participate in current events discussions, educational lectures, cultural and intergenerational programs. The Skilled Care Center is a part of The Cedars, which is one of the leading senior living communities southern Maine that was founded in 1963.
