Portland Sea Dogs is one of the leading minor league baseball teams in the United States. An affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, the team has been playing for more than 15 years. Some of its popular players include Kevin Millar, Ryan Jackson, John Roskos, Mark Kotsay and Josh Booty. Portland Sea Dogs received the Double-A Bob Freitas award by Baseball America in 1999. A member of the Florida Marlins, the team has played more than 150 matches.
