- Pediatric CareDr. James Maguire was born and raised in Massachusetts. He graduated from Boston College, then from University of Massachusetts Medical School, and ended up doing his pediatric residency at Tufts/Boston Floating Hospital followed by an allergy fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital Allergy/Immunology program. Dr. Maguire practiced adult and pediatric Allergy/Immunology and General Pediatrics in Fall River, Massachusetts for 36 years before retiring to Maine and coming aboard at Allergy & Asthma Associates of Maine on a part-time basis in November 2022.
- Primary CareAmanda has been with the practice since 2018. She worked as a nurse for several years while pursuing a master’s in nursing part-time. She graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a master's degree in nursing/family nurse practitioner in 2020. Prior to coming to Allergy and Asthma, she worked at Maine Medical Center for 7 years on an adult respiratory unit caring for the acutely ill. She has also worked in primary care, and has served as an undergraduate clinical nursing instructor for the University of Southern Maine at Maine Medical Center. Her education includes a bachelor's in biology with a minor in French language and culture studies from the University of Maine at Orono; and more recently, graduated
- Family PracticeElaine is originally from Maine. She graduated with a bachelor of science of degree in biology, from the University of Southern Maine, in 1995 and a master of science degree as a physician assistant, from the University of New England, in 2001. She lived in Georgia for five years and worked in Family Medicine at a rural health clinic but returned to Maine to raise her children and be surrounded by family. She initially joined Allergy and Asthma Associates as a PA in 2011. After two years at Maine Medical Center working in gastroenterology, she rejoined Allergy and Asthma Associates. She enjoys seeing patients ages 2 and up.

- Internal MedicineMagna cum laude. She received her medical degree from the University of New England, College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNECOM) in Biddeford, Maine, where she was elected a member of Sigma Sigma Phi, an honor service fraternity requiring both excellence in academics and community service. She completed her residency at Kent Hospital in Rhode Island in internal medicine, in affiliation with UNECOM and The Warren Alpert School of Brown University, followed by a pediatric and adult allergy/immunology fellowship through University Hospitals at Cleveland Medical Center, in Cleveland, Ohio, in affiliation with Case Western Reserve University. She is dual certified in internal medicine and allergy/immunology.

- EczemaDr. Cardona has received national recognition for basic science research in atopic dermatitis (eczema), and has published in various medical journals on eczema and asthma. He has also been frequently voted by his peers as a "top doctor" in the State of Maine in allergy and immunology. His special interests include atopic dermatitis, food allergy, and asthma and he is bilingual in both Spanish and English. Dr. Cardona has happily made Maine his home and is honored to contribute to the health and well-being of the community. He sees patients of all ages.
- AllergiesSumma cum laude, and was inducted into the academic honor society Phi Beta Kappa. He received his medical degree from The University of Maryland, and completed a pediatric internship and residency at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. He then completed a three year pediatric and adult Allergy and Immunology fellowship at National Jewish Health hospital in Denver, Colorado, frequently voted #1 Respiratory Hospital in the U.S. by U.S. News & World Report. While at National Jewish, he was fortunate to train under some of the leaders in the field, with a strong focus in both pediatric and adult allergic and immunologic diseases.
