Established in 1997, William R. Buckley Elementary School serves approximately 520 students in kindergarten through grade four. The school is staffed with a reading specialist, part-time nurse, psychologist, counselor, speech therapist, custodians and full-time teachers. Its academic curriculum includes history, social studies, science, English, language arts and mathematics. William R. Buckley Elementary School operates a parent-teacher association that supports several school events and activities. It organizes various book fairs and art shows. The school also offers the English Language Learners program. It is a part of the Burton School District, which serves more than 3,300 students in its elementary, middle and high schools. William R.
