Floresta Elementary School is affiliated with the St. Lucie County School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. The school offers Florida comprehensive assessment test, which measure and monitors students ability in various academic subjects. It has a library media center that houses a collection of books on various topics, including business, computers, education, entertainment, religion, and science and technology. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes various cultural and academic events and works to foster cooperative relationships among students, faculty and parents. The school provides academic classes in reading, writing, English, math, science, social studies, language arts, communication skills and physical education. Floresta Elementary School conducts classes in prekindergarten through grade five and is located in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
