Founded in 1906, the St. Lucie County Fire District offers a variety of fire safety programs and services. The department is a part of St. Lucie County in Florida, which provides a range of municipal and administrative services. The St. Lucie County Fire District offers fire prevention and emergency medical solutions. It responds to more than 4,600 fire-related and over 31,500 medical calls. The district has nearly 15 fire stations. It manages a staff of approximately 455 people. The county is one of the fastest growing counties in Florida. It spreads over an area of more than 600 square miles.
