Dr. Adam Schuessler is a board-certified, dual-degree Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Florida. Dr. Schuessler completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida. He continued his training at Tufts University School and Dental Medicine. Afterward, Dr. Schuessler trained at Kings County Hospital Center / SUNY Downstate Medical center for six years. During his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Schuessler performed various surgical procedures, such as dentoalveolar & 3rd molar surgery, IV sedation, advanced bone grafting, maxillofacial trauma and dental implants. Dr. Schuessler continues to attend multiple national courses to stay up to date with the latest information and advances in oral surgery & implant dentistry. After completing his residency training, Dr. Schuessler wanted to provide the highest standard of care to his patients. He became board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The board certification process is a very demanding two-year process that includes a rigorous written qualifying exam followed by a comprehensive oral examination. This achievement demonstrates that a surgeon has achieved the highest level of clinical proficiency and knowledge in the field.
