I brought my truck in for new tires, and also asked for a brakes inspection. In addition to the $800 I spent for the tires, the mechanics claimed my brakes were dangerously worn and needed immediate replacement. They also said my transmission fluid and power steering fluid were black, and should be flushed. The bill for these "necessary" services would be $900. I said I would get back to them, and went to another mechanic for a second opinion. The second mechanic inspected the same items, and found that my front brakes were at 80%, my rear brakes looked brand new, and my fluids would be fine for another 10,000 miles. Big O Tires is a rip-off operation, and I will never go there again.

I took my '68 in with a carb problem and John figured out the cause and found a repair to get it running smooth again. Most shops want to simply replace parts but John can diagnose the problem and fix it properly the first time. Thanks Big O
