John F. Kennedy Middle School, located in Port Jefferson Station N.Y., is affiliated with the Comsewogue School District. The school offers a wide variety of educational and co-curricular programs to more than 900 students in grades six through eight. It has a computer club that offers a variety of opportunities to students to explore new programs and practice keyboarding. The computer club also offers activities, such as word processing, computer games, and creating games and puzzles. The school has a parent-teacher association that focuses on enhancing communication between home and school. It also promotes the participation of parents in curriculum and policy development.
