Garfield Elementary School serves more than 400 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school conducts special classes in stories, counting, coloring, stamping and animal sounds. In addition, it offers various special programs, including Starfall, Count Us In, Clifford, Learning Planet and Counting Sheep. The school also offers a range of before- and after-school care programs. Garfield Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that organizes various programs for parents, students and teachers. The school also operates a cafeteria that serves lunch and breakfast to students. Garfield Elementary School is a part of the Port Huron Area School District. The school is located in Port Huron, Mich.
