Central Middle School, located in Port Huron, Mich., offers classes in grades six through eight. The school is affiliated with Port Huron Area School District, and serves more than 700 students. Its wide range of curriculum includes language, literature, creative writing and media studies, business studies, algebra, geometry, physics, chemistry, biology, and American history and social studies, computer technology, and physical education. Central Middle School also provides special education programs for the students with the disabilities. The school has a media center, and offers recreational activities, such as dance, field trips, and cougar champ reward trips, and has a musical band.
