Riverdale Elementary School is a coeducational institution that offers academic classes in a variety of subjects, such as reading, writing, language arts, English, math, science, social studies, art, music, computer applications, and health and physical education. It employs a staff of more than 60 full-time, certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes nurses, social workers, library media aides, classroom teachers, custodians, and speech and language pathologists. Riverdale Elementary School provides educational services to students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. The school is a part of Riverdale Community Unit School District 100. Riverdale Elementary School has an annual enrollment of over 500 students and is located in Port Byron, Ill.
