Located in Pontiac, Mich., Oakland County Department of Information Technology (IT) is a service bureau providing information technology services to 82 County divisions. The branch offers an array of services, such as asset management, anti-virus maintenance and control, network directory services, file storage, disaster recovery planning and telephone and paging management, to name a few. Additionally, its Internet services include web hosting, file transfer protocol (FTP) and web browsing. The department serves a range of disciplines, including health division, Oakland County International airport, County executive and public safety department.
